VinylPlus, the organisation for members of the European PVC industry voluntarily committed to sustainable development, has appointed Charlotte Röber as its new managing director. Röber has also assumed the position of managing director of the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers (ECVM). Charlotte Röber succeeds Dr. Brigitte Dero in both positions.
Röber has spent the last 10 years at the European PVC Window Profiles and related Building Products Association (EPPA), where she served as regulatory affairs manager and then as managing director since 2019. She has been working for the PVC industry for a decade, previously representing the interest of the PVC window profile industry towards policymakers, standardisation bodies, and other sectors.
She has experience in sustainability assessment of construction products, standardisation activities, chemical and waste legislation, and corresponding advocacy actions.
Röber completed her Masters in European and International Law at the University of Maastricht. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Vlerick Business School in Ghent.
