Supplier of sorting plants for the recycling and waste disposal industry, Stadler Anlagenbau GmbH has relocated its headquarters to a new €30m “ultra-modern” site, in the German city of Altshausen, where the company was already based in.
The site includes a five-story building for office spaces and modern production halls which will double the company’s production capacity, Stadler told PNE in a statement 22 Oct.
The new facility, which was officially inaugurated 18 Oct, extensively employs automatisation and has a low environmental footprint.
“In the production halls we have three welding robots, high-tech machines for bending and cutting and a powder coating facility for the better and faster painting of our machines,” the company added.
To reduce the plant’s environmental impact, the lights are adapted automatically to the daylight and the heat produced by the powder-coating room is used to heat all buildings.
“Our considerable investment in this building will help our growing business to operate even more efficiently, and will help to ensure that Stadler is a pleasant place to work,” said Willi Stadler, CEO of the Stadler Group.
