Sikora has once again made the prestigious German global market leader – future champion list. It is not the first time the Bremen, Germany-based company, a manufacturer and supplier measuring, control, sorting and inspection systems has been thus recognized: the company has featured on the list - based on the “global market leader index” of the Henri B. Meier Entrepreneur School of the University of St. Gallen and the Academy of German Global Market Leaders - since 2016.
The annually updated list of “global market leaders – future champions” in Germany is based on an objective and transparent selection process. The criteria for inclusion are relatively straightforward: a global market leader must be active worldwide, as a successful company with for the most part leading technologies. The company must be under family management and maintain the largest or second-largest market share in its segment, with an annual turnover of between 5 and 50 million euros, of which at least 40 percent is generated abroad. Lastly, “future champions” must be active on at least 3 continents.
Sikora, founded in 1973, was successfully able this year again to fulfil these criteria.
