The company has made an active push to systematise its recycling processes, to boost its production efficiency and can ensure a high quality and highly valuable finished products. “Last year we implemented the quality management and environmental managements systems in accordance with the International Standardisation Organization certificates ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
EuCertPlast is one of the most important certificates for the European recyclers, confirming the quality of the whole production process and the final product,” said Andris Trumars, managing director of SIA Nordic Plast. He added the recycling industry is struggling with the impact of the Covid-19 crisis. The ability to supply the high quality material consumers need and to meet the requirements of the European standards are both significant factors in order to stay in the market, he noted.
