UK-based Robinson Packaging, specialised in the design and manufacture of consumer led packaging, has introduced a new 100ml PET jar for its range of herbs and spices packaging made with 30% food grade rPET.
As a member of Recoup, the UK organisation providing expertise and guidance on plastics recycling and waste management, the company’s plastics division works to produce products with optimised designs to reduce the amount of raw material used.
The company’s plastics packaging division, which has a strong focus on the food & drink, personal care and homecare sectors, strives for mono-material solutions with clear labelling, to improve the chance of products reaching the recycling plant and successfully being identified by waste management companies.
The newly-developed the packaging jar fits these ambitions: the jar is 100% recyclable and available with a range of closures, including a 38mm twin flip, aluminium cap or a grinder, all made from 100% rPET.
