The first edition of the Plastics Recycling Show Middle East and Africa, opened this morning to a crowd. As a showcase for the latest solutions and technologies in plastics recycling for the MEA market, this inagural edition of the event has attracted just under 100 exhibitors. Some of the top players at the exhibition include Schneider Electric, Bariq, Astra Polymers, FIMIC Srl, Rebound Plastic Exchange, Krones AG, and many more.
PRS Middle East and Africa now officially open, in Dubai
H.E. Eng. Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality inaugurates 1st edition of PRS ME&A
The trade show was inaugurated this morning by H.E. Eng. Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality along with Ton Emans, PRE; Matthew Barber, Global Events Director, Crain Communications; and Taher Patrawala, Managing Director, Media Fusion, at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The first Plastics Recycling Conference will run concurrently with the event. Top speakers include representatives from Unilever Middle East & Turkey, Plastics Recyclers Europe, PepsiCo, Rebound Plastic Exchange, Veolia, Tetra Pak, Nestlé, IFFCO Group, Dow Chemical IMEA and many others. Discussion on topics ranging from “The state of collection and sorting in MEA,” and “Chemical recycling: Meeting the new demands for recyclable materials,” to “A deep dive into ocean plastics: Exploring the ambitious commitments and targets to advance circularity” are scheduled for the coming three days of the show.
