Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) is expected to see a record number of exhibitors for its 2020 edition, building on its success over the last three year.
According to organisers, the floorplan area was increased by 17% for the 2019 show and another 16% will be added next year.
“It is already looking like we will need to add more. Existing exhibitors are requesting larger stands and we are attracting growing interest from new companies,” said Matt Barber, PRSE Event Director at co-organiser Crain Communications.
The 2019 edition of the event, held in Amsterdam last month, attracted more than 3,250 visitors, up 34.5% compared to the attendance level last year.
Similarly, the number of exhibitors at the two-day show rose 20% to 120 companies compared to the 2018 edition, the event organisers said 30 April.
“PRSE has grown so quickly to become the showcase for innovation in plastics recycling technology. We are seeing dramatic improvements in the capacity and quality of products and processes to meet the demands of consumers and brand owners today,” said Ton Emans, president of Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE).
PRSE is organised jointly by PRE and Plastics News Europe publisher Crain Communications.
The event returns to Hall 7 at RAI Amsterdam on 25-26 March 2020.
