Cambridgeshire-based plastics recycling specialist Plasgran has targeted new growth by adding the municipal wheelie bin market to its company offering.
The firm's newly-incorporated Municipal Services Division will offer a full range of services to wheelie bin manufacturers, local authorities and waste management providers for the on-street delivery and collection of wheelie bins.
David Barber and John Exley have set up and will oversee the new division.
Plasgran managing director Mark Roberts said: “We are delighted to bring on board this new capability, which further enhances our complete offering to our customer and supplier base.”
The business, which has been trading since 1999, significantly expanded its processing capacity and capability earlier in the year, with a £1.7m investment in a new Intarema compounding line, and more recently announced the delivery of a new Boy22A injection moulding machine.
