Netstal has announced a new distribution partnership with Queretaro, Mexico-based iTech-Global, a company with a focus on and expertise in the packaging and medical plastics processing sectors.
The company noted ‘the professionalism and dedication of Netstal employees and their commitment to their customers and the market in general’, stated Rod Selem, founding Partner at iTech-Global.
iTech-Global has a strong presence throughout Mexico. The new distribution agreement will expand Netstal’s presence in Mexico, providing Mexican customers and prospects with an additional local contact and support resource.
"Their experience and position in the PET preforms and packaging segments are a perfect complement to our focus areas. With the relaunch of the Netstal brand in Mexico, we have found the ideal partner to expand our business in this strategically important region," said Doug Haberman, president of Netstal's US subsidiary and sales director for the Americas region.
Under the agreement between the two companies, Netstal will continue to operate the service and spare parts business internally from its site in Querétaro. Ítalo Zavaglia, managing director of Netstal’s locations in Brazil and Mexico issued a warm welcome to the new partners, saying that his team was looking forward to ‘working with you and to many joint successes’.
In 2021, KraussMaffei Group announced that its Swiss business unit KraussMaffei HighPerformance AG would be transferred into an independent group under its original name of Netstal. The growth of the new, independent, global Netstal organisation has since continued to progress under the umbrella of the KraussMaffei Group. Led by CEO Renzo Davatz, subsidiaries have so far been newly established under the Netstal name in the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France and Italy. The existing companies in Germany, Spain and Singapore are again operating under the Netstal name. The present partnership with iTech represents the next step in the relaunch of Netstal's global business.
