More events are put on hold

The Plastic Waste 2 Plastic Conference, which was scheduled to be held 9 June, has been postponed due to the latest developments in the global Coronavirous pandemic.

The decision was not taken lightly, but the safety of the speakers, exhibitors and attendees must always come first, the organisers said. 

The new date is November 9, 2020.

The conference is part of the Sustainable Materials series which also includes Design 4 Sustainability Conference on November 10. Both conferences will take place at the same location, Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Sittard-Geleen, in the Netherlands. Tickets for one day or both days are available. 

The second edition of Luxe Pack’s Édition Spéciale, dedicated this year to sustainable packaging solutions, was initially scheduled to take place 26-27 May.

Due to the ongoing pandemic and increasing government restrictions, the event will now be held on November 30th and December 1st, 2020, at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.

As show director Fabienne Germond Show Director explained: "In addition to the uncertainties regarding the health situation, the context of preparation specifically for our exhibiting companies and their customers, the original May dates will not offer the optimum conditions for the success that we all expect.”

Exhibitors and attendees responded well to the postponement of the event, calling it ‘excellent’ news. More information will be available over the next few weeks.
