This year’s Fakuma will see the European product premiere of Milacron’s new M-series of injection moulding machines. Milacron will be running an M650-6610 machine with a screw diameter of 110 mm at its booth in Hall B3. The machine, featuring tooling from Allit, will produce a storage container with a shot weight of 935 g.
The M-Series builds on the company's proven machine technology and sets new standards for medium-tonnage solutions. Powered by a servo motor hydraulic system, the M-Series’ versatility and performance meet the demanding needs of industries ranging from the automotive and construction to housewares and furniture.
The servo-hydraulic two-platen machine series, available with clamping forces from 4,500 to 11,000 kN, offers improved specifications and all-inclusive performance, as well as integrated control and excellent eject access for quicker mould changes, to deliver optimal productivity and space savings. "The M-Series not only demonstrates outstanding performance potential, but also scores with a compact clamp footprint and fast clamping speeds, " said Winfried Stöcklin, Managing Director of Ferromatik Milacron GmbH.
The plastic material used at this year’s Fakuma, PCR-PP, is provided by Green Dot, one of the largest commodity traders in all of Europe. The machine is equipped with a model Success 33 TE Sepro robot, an auxiliary solution offering seamless integration of state-of-the-art automation technology.
