Trinseo has abandoned the previously announced search for a senior vice president, Commercial, the company said in a statement 15 April.
“In a difficult economic environment, we continue to look for opportunities to drive greater focus on business process optimisation and efficiency,” said Frank Bozich, President and CEO of Trinseo.
Trinseo is putting in place a ‘flatter organisation to streamline decision making’ and drive efficiency. The appointees are Francesca Reverberi, who has been named Vice President, Engineered Materials and Synthetic Rubber; Nicolas Joly, appointed Vice President, Plastics and Feedstocks; and Rüdiger Schmitz, named Vice President, Latex Binders.
In a further reshuffle, Tim Stedman, senior vice president, Strategy and Corporate Development, has been named special advisor, effective 1 May 2020, and will leave the company on 31 October 2020 to pursue other opportunities. Andre Lanning has been named vice president, Strategy, Corporate Development and Marketing Communications, effective 1 May 2020. He will be a member of the company’s executive leadership team.
Similarly, Jeff Denton, vice president, Supply Chain Services, has been named special advisor, effective 1 April 2020. He will leave the company on 1 August 2020 and is being replaced by Rainer Schewe, effective 1 April 2020.
Catherine Keenan, vice president, Public Affairs, Sustainability, and Environment, Health, and Safety, is likewise leaving the company, effective 1 May 2020. Her responsibilities will be redistributed among the executive leadership team.
