Bonn-based mechanical engineering company Kautex Maschinenbau has appointed Samuel Tevosyan to lead its subsidiary in Russia. Tevosyan, a sales professional with years of experience in the plastics industry, joined the company, which specialises in the development and construction of highly efficient extrusion blow moulding machines, in July.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the sales director in North Russia of the non-PET division of one of the world's biggest system providers for injection moulding technology.
Russia is one of Kautex’ core markets. In his role as CEO, Tevosyan will focus on growing the business in Russia and neighbouring countries together with the Russian Kautex team, aligning the organisation with the needs of the local market and addressing specific customer product demands.
Kautex Maschinenbau has recently made successful advances in the packaging sector with the development and expansion of individual machine solutions. With this new appointment, the company aims to further strengthen and expand its presence in Russia.
“We construct highly efficient and sustainable machine solutions that provide our customers with important competitive advantages,” said Thomas Hartkämper, CEO of the Kautex Group.
“Their success is our endorsement. Russia and the neighbouring states are a particularly important future market for us. We are happy to have found in Samuel Tevosyan a dynamic head of our Moscow subsidiary who has the necessary market and product knowledge as well as many years of sales experience."
