As one of the largest medium-sized manufacturers of high-quality masterbatches, colour pastes, pigment preparations and liquid colorants for the plastics processing industry in Europe, Finke is presenting, amongst others, its UL94 all-colour certified Fibaplast masterbatches for electrical and electronic applications together with various new products such as Fibatec and Fibarec additive batch products.
Colour and effect masterbatches as well as technical masterbatches from the FIBAPLAST range are now available from Finke with an all-colour certification for the UL94 HB classification. The use of an all-colour certified masterbatch in combination with a certified polymer allows the user to react flexibly to changes in colour and component with no recertification required. Finke offers all-colour certifications for the polymers PP, POM, PBT, ABS, PARA and PA6GF.
Fibatec is a new uncoloured additive batch series focused entirely on function and based on various carriers. One example is the Fibatec UVA batches that impart plastics products with an inherent UV-protection. Fibatec UVA additive batches comply with the regulations for plastic materials that come into contact with foodstuffs in the EU, the USA and in China. They are approved for packaging and registered for REACH as well as the respective inventories in the USA and China.
The recyclate-based colorants from Finke’s Fibarec series enable the production of attractive colourful plastic products made from 100 % recyclate. All masterbatches from the Finarec series are based on either post-consumer recyclates (PCR) or post-industrial recyclates (PIR).
Sustainability and climate protection play an important role at Finke, both in terms of product range as well as at the corporate level. In June 2023, the company therefore as determined its company-wide greenhouse gas balance as well as the greenhouse gas balance for its products, both according to Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The greenhouse gas balance enables Finke to establish further targeted CO2 reduction measures and make these transparent to customers.
