German recycling machinery supplier Vecoplan AG is launching a new single-stage shredder from its VIZ series (Vecoplan Infinity Shredders) at K 2019 in October.
Describing it as a “milestone” in the mechanical processing of post-consumer plastics, Vecoplan said the machine is designed in such a way that, depending on the requirements, it can be equipped either with a high-torque, quick-start drive or with a frequency-controlled, belt-type direct drive.
Both systems are patented and display great energy efficiency, Vecoplan said in a release ahead of the show.
One particular highlight of the machine, according to Vecoplan, is its flexibility in terms of the cutting geometry.
The equipment can be adapted to different input and output requirements by changing the rotors and blades and by selecting the right screen.
The performance can be determined by the interface, which allows for short set-up times and a high level of adaptability to cater for different output requirements.
Vecoplan can be found at hall 9, stand B59 at K 2019, 16-23 Oct, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
