France’s leading fair for plastics, composites and rubber, France Innovation Plasturgie (FIP), which was to take place 16-19 June has now been postponed until 2021, its organisers have announced.
The once-in-three years event will now be held from 15-18 June 2021 at the Lyon Eurexpo.
The decision was an unavoidable one in the light of the current health crisis and the current restrictions on public events imposed by the French government.
“This one-year postponement to a triennial show is an appropriate and secure solution to guarantee the success we all aspire to: a unifying event that our industry needs to sustain and accelerate its activity,” said Nathalie Curvat, deputy managing director of Infopro Digital, the parent company of organiser IDICE.
The FIP will maintain contact with its exhibitors, visitors and other associated parties over the course of the intervening year on events and developments concerning the industry and show.
