Kęstutis Sadauskas, director for Circular Economy and Green Growth DG Environment at the European Commission, will formally open the Plastics Recycling Show Europe conference at the RAI Amsterdam, 10 April.
Other new additions to the conference programme include Per Stoltz, head of Resources and Waste Sustainability Group at IKEA, John Ortiz, director of Product Stewardship at HP, and Eelco Smit, senior director Sustainability, Philips International.
The conference will feature presentations on developments and trends from across the European plastics recycling landscape, including sessions covering recycling of PET, PVC and other technical plastics.
The event will further include the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe, to be held on 11 April. A total of seven awards will be presented to people and groups behind a variety of technological developments and innovative solutions for improving plastics recycling.
More than 110 companies and industry organisations will be exhibiting at the event, which will be held in Hall 7 at the RAI Amsterdam. The larger hall is needed to accommodate the growing number of exhibitors and visitors.
Registration for the free-to-attend two-day conference and exhibition can be completed at www.prseventeurope.com
