ENGEL UK will provide free service support to customers serving the medical parts market, said managing director Nigel Baker.
Earlier, Baker released a message stating that ENGEL UK was ‘acutely aware’ of the large number of customers active in the medical and packaging sector. In times of coronavirus, with shortages of medical supplies of all time increasing at a rapid pace, Baker said that ENGEL UK appreciated just how vital the supply chains were to these customers and emphasised that they were doing everything possible to protect their employees and customers.
“We're still here for all our great customers who are working hard to keep production rolling,” the company posted reassuringly on LinkedIn.
As the crisis continues, the plastics machinery manufacturer has now expanded on that statement with a new promise.
“Everyone appreciates the sacrifices being made by the emergency services, doctors, nurses and key workers during this pandemic,” said Baker.
“ENGEL have a significant share of the medical moulding market and we are delighted to be able to offer support to our UK & Eire customers, who are manufacturing medical parts for the NHS supply chain.
These customers will receive free service engineer visits for the month of April 2020.
Customers that need support should call our Service Department directly on 01926 334000,” said Nigel Baker, managing director, ENGEL UK. The offer, he added, is necessarily subject to the availability of engineers.
