Austria-based injection moulding machine manufacturer and system provider Engel has named Anders Nybäck vice president of the Technical Moulding & Teletronics business unit. Nybäck, who previously serve as sales director of the business unit stepped into his new leadership role 1 July.
Nybäck has been with the injection moulding machine manufacturer for over 25 years. He started his career at an Engel agency in Finland, where he was employed from 1997 to 2002. He then moved into the managing role of the newly founded subsidiary Engel Finland.
In 2012, Nybäck took on a new challenge in China, where he worked as a sales manager for Engel Shanghai. He returned to Europe in 2018, where he became the sales director of the Technical Moulding & Teletronics business unit, based at the Engel headquarters in Schwertberg, Upper Austria.
Engel has established a business unit structure to ensure it can provide the best possible response to each different market segment. With separate units to address the needs of the automotive, technical moulding, teletronics, packaging and medical industries, the company develops injection moulding machines and automation solutions specifically tailored for the relevant segment. The idea behind this structure is that customers benefit globally from market-specific expertise, a broad product and service portfolio, and solutions that fit their individual needs, according to Engel.
