CJ Biomaterials taps Lauren Scott for director corporate affairs

CJ Biomaterials, Inc., a division of South Korea-based CJ CheilJedang and a primary producer of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs), has hired Lauren Scott as the organisation's first director of Corporate Affairs. Scott previously served at on the American Chemistry Council, where she advocated for the plastics and chemicals industry as an Associate Director, leading state government affairs for the Association’s western region. She therefore brings extensive experience in government affairs and advocacy to her new role at CJ Bio, where she will lead US Government Affairs. 
Scott will be based in Sacramento, Ca, and report to Heidi Lebel, vice president of strategic marketing.
