As the pandemic has once again pushed the physical event off the calendar, the organisers of Chinaplas have come up with a new, three-week virtual event for the plastics and rubber industry. From 25 May through 14 June 2022, the Chinaplas Virtual Show 2022 will take place with as theme ‘Innovative Plastics & Rubber Technology Connects the World’. The event will offer a platform for the industry to connect and collaborate, allowing exhibitors and visitors to explore local and overseas resources without the usual time and geographical restrictions.
Chinaplas Virtual Show 2022 opens tomorrow
The show will promote the ‘exchange of innovative technologies and business cooperation between the upstream and downstream of plastics and rubber industries’, according to Ada Leung, General Manager of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., the organisers of Chinaplas.
She said the event, that is expected to bring together some 4,000+ plastics and rubber suppliers, will feature four different components: innovative technology highlights of the year, CPS+ eMarketplace, Hot Tech Webinars, and Business e-Match.
Innovative technology
Traditionally one of the most important platforms for showcasing innovations in plastics technology, Chinaplas Virtual Show 2022, too, will highlight the latest technological breakthroughs using videos, pictures and texts to provide users with the information they need in an intuitive and accessible format.
CPS+ eMarketplace
To readily facilitate all procurement and supply needs, the CPS+ eMarketplace currently has over 4,000 global plastics and rubber technology suppliers settled in, and over 5,000 products on display. Convenient and easy to access, according to the user satisfaction survey, it offers functional completeness and an extensive database.The CPS+ eMarketplace has also specially released a series of new functions, including real-time chatting, weekly thematic showcase, popular keywords for conducting search, etc., to improve interaction and facilitate trade cooperation between buyers and suppliers.
Hot Tech Webinars
A webinar programme with a lineup of some 40+ speakers will run in parallel to the show. Experts in dual-carbon economy and recycling, industry 4.0, 3D printing, industrial design, nanotechnology, life sciences and other fields will be invited to share their views and answer questions from users. Topics include the Electronics Industry Carbon Neutral Experience Sharing Forum, Green Innovation and Application Forum for Plastic Logistics Packaging, and more.
Business e-Match
Business e-Match facilitates the matching between overseas buyers and suppliers by invitation. With precise screening, the chance of successful matching for both parties will be further enhanced. Buyers from around the world will join 70+ sessions of Business e-Match.
Chinaplas 2023 is scheduled to take place as an in-person event 17-20 April, 2023 in Shenzhen.
