Bamberger Polymers, an internationally operating distributor in thermoplastic resin solutions, has successfully obtained International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS, allowing the company to distribute resins under the ISCC Plus (Mass Balance) label.
“Through our ISCC PLUS certification, we will be able to provide value to our entire network in reaching their sustainability goals,” explained Greg Paradine, Director of Commodity Procurement at Bamberger,
ISCC PLUS is an internationally recognised system providing traceability across the supply chain for recycled and bio-based plastics. It provides verification that companies use mass balanced sustainable raw materials derived from biomass and/or recyclates for producing their products and ensures compliance with regulations on traceability as well as greenhouse gas emissions along the entire value chain. The ISCC Plus certificate guarantees that all sales and purchases of resins are monitored by third parties to make sure that they comply with the relevant standards.
Bamberger Polymers became certified in April 2022. The company said it will continue to advance international sustainability efforts through the continuous development of recycled and renewable plastics.
