Advanced Pedestals, ALPS Inspection named Best Places to Work for 2024

Clearwater Beach, Fla. — Advanced Pedestals Inc. and ALPS Inspection have been named top workplaces in plastics for 2024.

The full list was announced March 12 at the Plastics News Executive Forum in Clearwater Beach. This marks the 11th year for the Best Places to Work awards.

Advanced Pedestals topped the list of processors this year. The custom rotational and injection molder in Gainesville, Texas, was founded in 1996. This is the company's second appearance on the list. Advanced Pedestals holds the belief that its products' quality is contingent upon the morale and performance of its team.

ALPS Inspection, an in-line leak testing equipment maker in Harrison, Ohio, topped the list of suppliers. This is the company's fourth appearance on the list. ALPS was founded in 1974 and has always held a customer-first, family-style mentality that allows its employees to create a successful culture.

In the processors category, the Best Places to Work for 2024 are:

2. KI Industries Inc., a supplier of decorative products of Berkeley, Ill.

3. Team 1 Plastics Inc., an injection molder in Albion, Mich.

4. Redline Plastics LLC of Manitowoc, Wis., a rotational molder and thermoformer.

5. MTD Micro Molding, a precision micromolder in Charlton, Mass.

6. Engineered Profiles LLC, a custom profile extruder in Columbus, Ohio.

In the suppliers category, the Best Places to Work in 2024 are:

1. ALPS Inspection, an in-line leak testing equipment maker in Harrison, Ohio.

2. Progressive Components International Corp., a supplier of specialized mold components in Wauconda, Ill.

3. Conventus Polymers LLC of Parsippany, N.J., a resin distributor.

4. Hasco America Inc., a supplier of standard mold components and hot runners in Fletcher, N.C.

5. US Extruders Inc., a manufacturer of custom single-screw extruders in Westerly, R.I.

6. Brueckner Group USA Inc. of Dover, N.H., a plastics and fiber machinery maker.

7. Chase Plastic Services Inc., a distributor of specialty and engineering thermoplastics in Clarkston, Mich.

8. ePlastics, a San Diego-based sheet distributor and fabricator.

9. Inoex LLC, a maker of gravimetric and ultrasonic equipment in Lancaster, Pa.

10. Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, a manufacturer of high-performance, engineered polymers, chemically coupled polypropylene resins and purging compounds based in Fowlerville, Mich.

For a company to be considered eligible, it must have a facility in the United States or Canada with a minimum of 15 employees, be in business for at least one year and derive at least 50 percent of revenue from plastics-related operations.

Judging is handled by Workforce Research Group, and the awards are sponsored by DelmiaWorks.
