Delphis Eco, a London-based ecological cleaning products maker, has launched what it describes as the UK's first 100% recycled HDPE packaging across its entire range.
According to the company, the bottle was launched in September 2017, following five years of research and development.
The bottles are made from recycled milk bottles, Delphis Eco told PNE, adding that the company has so far rolled out post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging on its 750ml trigger heads.
“In terms of expansion we are committed to PCR across the whole range, including 1L, 2L and 5L with the most challenging being our bent necked toilet bottles,” said Claudia Hall, a company spokeswoman.
Currently, she went on to say, the company is a B2B business.
“But as the PCR bottles make their way through production the response has been great. We are also launching our first B2C Retail Range this year with our PCR packaging at the heart of it,” Hall added.
The company did not comment on its production capacity for PCR bottles.
