Erema Engineering Recycling Maschinen and Anlagen opened its new UpCentre in November in Gunskirchen, near the company's headquarters in Ansfelden, Austria.
The UpCentre presents customers with Corema technology for the sampling of recycling compounds. Customers can use the UpCentre to produce sample amounts quickly and flexibly.
“On the way from recyclates to made-to-measure recycling compounds you need a lot of fine tuning in practice,” said Robert Obermayr, Corema product manager. “Processors demand varying quantities of samples — as often and as long as necessary until the recycling compound meets the exact requirements of their concrete application, such as film or injection molding parts.”
The UpCentre has a Corema 1108 T that can produce up to 500 tonnes of material a month. The system does recycling and compounding in a single processing step.
