US-based materials supplier A. Schulman, has announced it has entered into an exclusive distribution deal with Hungary-based Rego-Plast for the world-wide distribution of its regranulates.
Rego-Plast's product portfolio consists of recycled plastics for applications in the automotive, environment and energy, and small appliance markets.
“A. Schulman is excited to offer its EMEA customers access to Rego-Plast's leading portfolio of regranulates. The addition of regranulates supports our strategy to augment our portfolio with products that help our customers to address their needs for recycled raw materials," said Heinrich Lingnau, Senior Vice President and General Manager, EMEA.
Krisztián Balogh, Managing Director Rego-Plast said: "This agreement allows us to provide more customers with access to high-quality regranulates through A. Schulman's expanded network. In addition, this will provide us the flexibility to devote more resources to our primary focus in R&D."
Schulman currently employs around 5,000 people and has 58 manufacturing facilities globally. It reported net sales of $2.4bn (€2.1bn) for the fiscal year 2015.
